Pelargonium types differ in both leaves and flowers. Striped and border Pelargoniums have characteristic patterns on their leaves and flowers in various colors. Ivy-leaved Pelargoniums are characterized by leaves similar in shape to ivy leaves, and Large-flowered and English Pelargoniums have large flowers in different colors. Scented Pelargoniums are a group of Pelargoniums that produce aromatic oils, often used in perfumery.
