The Helix Nebula (NGC 7293) is located at a distance of 714 light-years from Earth and has a size of 2.5 light-years. It is sometimes called the „Eye of God”. This nebula is a remnant of a star similar to the Sun, which has already exploded and scattered its matter, remaining only as a white dwarf.
