An illustration of Chlamydia psittaci bacteria which is very small (0.5μm) and has a very interesting life cycle. It penetrates other cells and then goes into a state where it can no longer wander between cells, but has the ability to reproduce. After reproduction, it returns to its previous state. They leave the cell with numerous offspring and again look for new cells into which they can penetrate.
