Jupiter is the fifth planet from the Sun and the largest planet in the Solar System, with a mass over twice that of all the other planets combined. It is characterized by intense atmospheric activity, including beautiful cloud bands and large storms such as the Great Red Spot. Jupiter has over 90 moons, including the four largest: Io, Europa, Ganymede, and Callisto. Jupiter also has a strong magnetic field, which causes it to have very intense auroras. The planet is studied by space probes such as Juno to better understand its structure and properties.
